After much time off trial and error and much help my sketch up model is nicely set up

Solid Works Progress Model

Quickly made on Solid Works using line tools and extruding them, iv by this poit added plans and started with many extrudes from main solid.

Tutorials

I have found these step by step tutorials help ful as i find it hard to locate all tools. the tutorials explain the use and out come of what is being worked on. I enjoyed the interface now that i have played on it for a couple of times, i find Solid works great as its can be said to be more advanced the sketch up.
